The Mermaid Crone

The mermaids in myth are known for their irresistible voices; the most famous of these gave up her voice to become human, ultimately to gain an immortal soul. Each of us has a voice; each of our voices is unique and when we find it, it is the expression of our soul. It is the way we speak to each other, it is the pattern of our poetry, our art and our music. Each voice wants to be heard. Each voice deserves to be heard.

This website/blog is designed to broadcast my voice and to connect it to yours. It holds writing – poetry, observations, opinions – and art, produced over the years. It is what I want to share. I hope you find something that you recognize.
