About

In my dreams I am 22. I have four grown kids and 4 grandchildren who are kind, lovely, interesting people. They are at the center of my life. I have been married twice, been a stay-at-home mom, worked at Johns Hopkins School of Public Health, served as a board member at a private school, managed an unsuccessful co-op art gallery, worked at the zoo, tracked sea turtles, hosted a bed and breakfast in Maine, was vice president of a non-profit arts organization, lost all my money, and worked as a care giver and companion. I would not change any of it.

Each experience has been an exciting opportunity to meet people I wanted to meet and to learn stuff I didn’t know. I assume, with luck, such experiences will continue.

I have written and made images all my life. They are my way of trying to capture wonder. I have always wanted to share them with others who might connect with them, but never pursued publication with the appropriate energy. This is an effort to archive my work and make it available to others who might find it interesting and/or enlightening. It is yours to follow. If you choose to, I thank you.

I plan to use this site to present images, poetry, essays and commentary. I invite your interaction and comments. If, from what you see, you think that I might help you with organizing or editing writing you are undertaking or presentations you would like help in designing, don’t hesitate to contact me so we can explore your ideas. I enjoy working with others, and as I implied above, could use the money. I also make things – because I love to make things – and am super happy when anyone wants one (of the things.)

I am really excited about the next steps. I’m excited about getting to know each other.
